At 8 o'clock in the morning, in a yard in Dongyuan Village, Liyang Township, Ninghai County, Sam from the United Kingdom followed 98-year-old Dongyuan Villager Zhang Hexian and her son Feng Chuanyin to learn traditional Chinese martial arts.

Zhang Hexian is the eighth-generation heir of Ninghai Zhang's martial arts, a branch of Shaolin Nanquan. Sam is an English teacher in the kindergarten of Wei Te College (Ninghai). He has been in China for 3 years. He really likes Chinese traditional culture, especially Chinese martial arts. At the end of last month, he managed to find Zhang Hexian to learn art from his teacher. So far, he has come to learn martial arts with Zhang Hexian and Feng Chuanyin five times.

Sam said that he wants to show the martial arts he has learned to friends in his hometown so that they can also understand Chinese martial arts culture.
