“The countryside in Ninghai is so beautiful! Way different from what I expected!” said Erdem, one of Ningbo Overseas Communication Officers. Erdem enjoyed a fulfilling weekend last week. After a day of picking tea and watermelon, going fishing and pulling in nets, and cooking a fresh seafood meal, he was deeply impressed. “I didn’t expect Ningbo’s countryside to be so clean. Amazing!”

Erdem, a Turkish, has been in China for 10 years. “The villages adorned with artistic creations, fragrant flowers and other ornaments are attractive. Besides, locals enjoy a prosperous life. They are kind and always smiling.” Erdem said that after experiencing the rural life for a day, he had a deeper understanding of Ninghai’s countryside. He also plans to show more about Ningbo’s countryside through videos and texts.
