Recently, the Ninghai Branch of Ningbo Water Conservancy Emergency Rescue Materials Management Center was officially established. It mainly undertakes the function of material guarantee for water conservancy project emergency rescue in the southern part of Ningbo, enhancing the radiation capacity of municipal-level water conservancy emergency rescue materials and expanding the channels for emergency rescue services.

It is reported that the Ninghai Branch mainly serves Ninghai, Xiangshan, Fenghua and surrounding areas. Complementing the existing municipal-level water conservancy emergency rescue materials reserve center, it shortens the time for emergency material allocation and improves regional collaborative operation capabilities. The material reserve focuses on emergency rescue for mountain reservoirs and dikes. The first batch of reserve materials includes assault boats, gasoline pumps, outboard motors, self-generating lighting lamps, woven bags, geotextiles, etc.

The Ninghai Branch is the second water conservancy emergency rescue materials reserve branch established by Ningbo Water Resources Bureau. So far, Ningbo's water conservancy emergency rescue materials reserve has formed a material guarantee system featuring county-level reserves as the mainstay, supplemented by municipal-level reserves, with upper-lower linkage and regional mutual assistance. The city's 1-hour radiation circle for water conservancy emergency rescue materials has basically taken shape. In case of super-standard flood, it can effectively solve the shortage of emergency rescue materials caused by traffic interruption, ensuring that water conservancy rescue materials arrive in the first place.

An official from Ningbo Water Resources Bureau stated that at present, the municipal level has reserved water conservancy emergency rescue materials worth 4.84 million yuan. In the future, it will further explore a cooperative reserve mechanism between the water conservancy emergency rescue materials management center and enterprises, social organizations, communities, etc., make full use of social resources, form a multi-level and wide-coverage emergency rescue materials reserve network, and enhance the overall emergency response capability of Ningbo's water conservancy emergency rescue.
